FAQs

Do you travel?
Whilst I predominantly cover Wiltshire and Somerset, I'm happy to travel further, but I do not shoot destination weddings outside of the UK.

How do we book you for our wedding?

First you will need to check if I am available. I'm more than happy to meet couples for a consultation so I can find out more about your plans for your day and I can show you some of my gorgeous wedding albums and products. To book me, it's just a case of checking over your contract and signing and pay the booking fee and your date is secured. (Please note, I don't hold dates without a deposit).

How do we pay?

Payment can be made electronically by bank transfer or credit/debit card. Please note, I don't accept cash or cheque payments.

How many photos do we get?

There is no limit, but as a rough guide 550 photos minimum for a full day coverage wedding (this depends on guest numbers, the duration of coverage & the structure of your day).

How and when do we get our photos?

Your wedding photos will be online within 12 weeks of your wedding with the fascility to download your photos to a pc/laptop. Time for this can vary depending whether it's peak season or not.

Are you insured?

Absolutely!! All of my gear is fully insured and in addition I also have public liability and professional indemnity insurance. If you need proof of insurance please let me know.

What is digital editing?

Each of your photos is individually digitally edited and enhanced in my style. Digital editing includes cropping, straightening, colour correction, adjusting tone and contrast, adding vignettes where applicable and on key photos like portraits it also includes retouching work in the form of skin smoothing and removal of temporary skin imperfections.

If you would like additional retouching services to remove tattoos, blemishes or objects from a photo, this is available for an additional charge. As all my couples are supplied with the high resolution JPEGs, you're more than welcome to shop around for any additional retouching that you require. If you'd like me to arrange this for you, please advise me of photo numbers so that I can provide you with a quote.

I sub-contract the more specialist retouching work, so the timescale for this is usually around 2-3 weeks.

What do you do about food on the wedding day?

Don't worry about feeling you must provide a meal for me. I use the time during the wedding breakfast to check over photos taken so far that day and change camera batteries etc, so will eat during that time. If it's a venue where I can access my car at that time, I bring a packed lunch. If not, I'll make alternative arrangements directly with the venue, if not possible I will pop off somewhere close by to get food and return as quickly as possible.

Most venues do a vendor meal which is substantially cheaper than you pay per guest for your wedding breakfast and do not feel oblidged to provide a three course meal, just a main is enough.
