The 2024 wedding season kicked off on 9th March at the wedding of Hannah and Pete held at The Hare & Hounds Hotel in the beautiful Cotswolds. It was a lovely spring day for the wedding for of Hannah and Pete with the rain holding off for most of the day. Morning preparations was in full swing when I arrived in the Gatekeeper Cottage with hair and makeup and prosecco flowing. The couple had a beautiful ceremony with spring flowers around the room and cream sashes on the chiavari chairs. It was a joyous ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest conducted by registrar's to say their 'I do's' immediately followed with a confetti walk at the front of the hotel going into formal group photos and couples portraits around the grounds.
Hannah and the bridesmaids bouquets were made by Twigs & Willow in Corsham, the bridal parties hair was done by Mikayla Ayliffe and makeup by Blush Beautiful Bridal Makeup in Melksham. The brides stunning dress was from my favourite local store, The Bridal Lounge in Trowbridge.
Speeches happened after the wedding breakfast by the mother of the bride followed by the groom, who ended his speech by singing All Of Me by John Legend. Once the room had been changed to the evening set up and the evening guests had started to arrive the newlyweds cut the cake and danced the night away.
